BuilderWatch and Leading Swiss Insurer in Talks to Launch First Click-to-Cover Home Renovation Insurance Across the UK and DACH Region

BuilderWatch, a UK-based technology platform dedicated to improving trust and accountability in the construction industry, is in advanced discussions with a leading Swiss-based insurance company to launch a first-of-its-kind click-to-cover home renovation insurance product across both the UK and DACH region.
Following a successful beta launch of its AnswerHub platform, which reached over 1,700 active users within just one month, BuilderWatch offers three integrated tools that set it apart in the market:
- The BuilderWatch Database - covering over 99% of UK builders and tradesmen (Launch Q4 2025).
- The BuilderWatch Rating - a proprietary fraud and risk scoring system (Launch Q4 2025).
- AnswerHub - an AI-powered platform trained on almost 400 local planning authorities as well as UK building law and regulations, giving homeowners instant, location-specific guidance (Successful beta launch; full launch Q4 2025).
The planned click-to-cover product will enable homeowners to secure tailored renovation insurance instantly, using BuilderWatch's proprietary data to streamline underwriting, verify contractors, and reduce fraud risk.
Seed Round Launch
The company is now launching its seed round to fund the UK and DACH region rollout, with capital directed toward scaling user acquisition, launching the insurance product, expanding its AI capabilities, and database expansion.
